This Application is the only criteria we have in deciding membership, so please take your time in responding.
1) Please describe your race ethnicity, cultural background or any other way you identify.
2) What are you thoughts and experiences in regards to race, class, gender, and sexual orientation? What are you opinions on these experiences? (As a reference, the following information can be found in Privilege, Allyship and Safe Space pamphlet in the Multicultural Resource Center in Wilder 2nd floor: The American Heritage Dictionary of English Language defines privilege as a special advantage, immunity, permission, right or benefit granted to or enjoyed by an individual, class, or caste.)
3) Why do you feel the need to be in TWC? Is this your first choice?
4) How do the concerns of TWC and issues listed in the statement of purpose personally apply to you?
5) Are you willing to respect our statement of purpose, as well as our collective safe space?
6) What can you contribute to the TWC community? What can you offer in terms of programming ideas? What are your interests and activities?
7) Is there anything else you would like us to know about you?
